At 68 years of age, I am usually limited to one job during the brandings (vaccinating, banding, branding, or sometimes just holding a chair in place). Before discovering the VacHolster, I typically walked around the crowd working while visiting with friends I may see only once a year at the branding, and I would have to be constantly aware of which hand the vaccine gun is in and which direction the covered (or uncovered) needle is pointing. So when I had the opportunity to wear a VacHolster, I immediately understood its value and safety.
Because of the VacHolster, my opportunities to help have expanded exponentially. I could do double-duty--banding and vaccinating bulls or occasionally flanking and holding a calf with one of my grandchildren. Knowing the vaccine gun was securely tucked in the VacHolster, I found I no longer needed to be on high alert while holding the vaccine gun or had the need to urgently find someone to hold it when I wanted to help in some other urgent capacity. I also felt people were much more comfortable being around me. VacHolster is very practical, easy to use, comfortable to wear, and can actually be an interesting conversation piece. Get one, you won’t be disappointed.
